#WORKSHOP MAKING VIDEOS
A very educational workshop for students and teachers. Anyone can film with a mobile phone or handy cam, but doing it well is a skill. This Basics video workshop is not about filming, but about using the camera as a tool to obtain certain skills. The students will learn the basics of how to make a video and learn skills such as presenting, analysing, working in a group, planning, reflecting, etc. Students will enjoy making a video without editing. They will learn how to film an ‘action.’ At the end of the workshop, the videos will be watched and evaluated. A maximum of three people per camera is recommended for the best result. If you don’t own a camera but would like to purchase one, let me advise you.
If the students want a fully edited video, it is possible to extend the video workshop. If the students are going to be editing, the videos can have a theme, depending on the school and education. For instance, they can make a commercial, an instructional video, a news item, a movie, etc. If you would like a video workshop and an additional editing workshop for the best result, click here for an ‘editing workshop’.
Coaching while filming:
Your students have learned how to film, but there is an event coming up at which you would like them to film efficiently. We can supervise your students so their videos will actually be good.
In the case of workshops at schools, time is measured in the class hours that are used at the particular school.
